Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
3/4 cup celery, chopped
3/4 cup onions, chopped
1-1/4 cup boiling water
1/2 cup uncooked rice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can chicken and rice soup
4 ounces mushrooms
1 can water chestnuts
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon butter
1-1/2 cups chow mein noodles

Directions:
Cook and stir hamburger, celery and onion until hamburger is light brown, then drain.
Put rice in 2 qt casserole sprinkle with salt and pour water over.
Stir in hamburger, soup, mushrooms, sugar, soy sauce and margarine.
Cover and cook in 350 oven for 30min. Stir.
Cook uncovered for 30 minutes longer.
Stir in noodles, serve immediately.
Note:Can bean sprouts or bamboo shoots may be added if desired.
