Pet Bird Breeds and Lifespan
If you
are considering getting a companion bird as a pet, it's would be
beneficial for you to know the average lifespan of some different species of pet
birds. Always consider this when choosing any pet.
A rule of thumb is that the larger the bird, the longer the lifespan. A bird's actual lifespan
depends on whether or not it is receiving proper nutrition,veterinary care and
attention. Most of these birds have been known to live many years longer than
what is stated here. Feeding your bird a nutritional diet,keeping the cage and feeding dishes clean
and seeking veterinary help before a bird becomes very ill is your best guarantee of it
