Pumpkin Birdie Cake

1 lb. can or fresh cooked pumpkin
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup honey
2 eggs plus ground shells
3/4 cup wheat germ
1 cup wheat bran
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup corn meal
4 oz Garden Flora from Golden
Feast or dried greens
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups white flour
Add ingredients one at a time into a large mixing bowl. Mix with electric
mixer, running on low until batter is completely blended.
Spray 2 bread pans with cooking spray then pour batter evenly into both pans.
Place in preheated 400 F oven and cook for 1 hour.
Cool on rack for about 10 minutes then remove from pan and cool completely.
Slice and cut into bird size pieces. Put in plastic bags and store in the
freezer. Defrost as needed.
