Vanilla Custard for Birds


2 cups milk
2 large eggs, beaten
3 tablespoons honey
Hot water


Place milk and honey in a bowl and beat well. Add eggs and mix well. Pour into small custard cups. Place cups on a rack in a baking pan with about 1 inch of hot water on the bottom of the pan. Bake at 325 degrees 30 to 45 minutes. Insert knife near edge of a cup. If it comes out clean, custard is done. Cool before serving and refrigerate leftovers.
